Building on this perspective, nowadays the VCW offers five foundational pillars to support its foundations and vision. Nowadays, the Value Creation Wheel is underpinned by five foundational pillars, each contributing to a World Development Vision.
The first foundational pillar is sustainability, which emphasizes the importance of balancing short- and long-term goals while aligning actions with a sustainable vision. This commitment is guided by internationally recognized frameworks, such as the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), the European Green Deal, and the Paris Agreement.
